Role Description The Software Engineer (C++) – Klang is a full-time, on-site role based in Klang. This role is responsible for maintaining C++ software components that support Parkson’s retail and e-commerce systems. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code; debugging and resolving software issues; and collaborating with cross-functional teams . The Software Engineer will participate in code reviews, optimize system performance, and contribute to technical improvements that enhance the omnichannel customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with hands-on experience in C++ and related development tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of C/AL or C/SIDE will be an advantage.
• Experience in Relational Database such as MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other Databases.
• Experience with Linux/Unix or Windows Platform.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, communicate clearly, and manage tasks in a fast-paced retail technology environment.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), software testing, and debugging tools; exposure to retail POS systems is an advantage.
