Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Primary Teacher to deliver English and Mathematics instruction to students in an international learning environment. The successful candidate should be able to support different learning needs and contribute to students' academic development.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English and Mathematics lessons according to the assigned programme and curriculum objectives.
• Create suitable lesson plans, classroom activities, worksheets, and assessment materials.
• Evaluate students' understanding through classwork, assignments, and regular assessments.
• Identify areas where students require further support and provide appropriate academic guidance.
• Adapt teaching methods and classroom activities to suit different learning levels and abilities.
• Establish a well-organised classroom that promotes participation, learning, and positive student behaviour.
• Keep updated records of attendance, assessment results, and students' academic development.
• Attend parent-teacher meetings and provide constructive advice.
• Provide additional lessons or reinforcement activities for students who need further assistance.
• Participate in parent-teacher discussions and provide appropriate feedback regarding students' learning progress.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Previous experience working with Primary-level students is preferred.
• Experience teaching students from international backgrounds will be an advantage.
• Previous experience in a Singapore MOE school environment is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with effective classroom management abilities.
• Able to organise teaching responsibilities independently while working cooperatively with other academic staff.
