Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. The trainees will be trained in assurance field to become future assurance managers or partners. The trainee will perform audit and assurance procedures, including checking financial statements, reviewing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and audit standards. Daily responsibilities include working with engagement teams to plan and execute audit procedures, preparing working papers, documenting findings, and assisting in drafting audit reports. The role involves liaising with clients to obtain information, clarify issues, and discuss audit observations in a professional and timely manner. The trainee will also support managers and partners in research, technical analysis, and continuous improvement of audit methodologies.

Qualifications

• Singaporeans and PRs are preferred.
• Candidates should have career objectives to become assurance managers or partners.
• Candidates should possess strong accounting knowledge and familiarity with audit standards.
• Candidates should possess solid analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate risks, and identify issues in financial information.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with clients and collaborate with team members.
• Candidates should possess a good understanding financial reporting, including accounting principles and reporting requirements.
• Candidates should ideally hold a good degree in Accountancy and/or Data Analytics. For fresh graduates with other disciplines or mid-career changers, the candidates should have significant progress toward or completion of professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, SCAQ, ICAEW).
• Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines, and demonstrate integrity, diligence and other professional ethics.
• Candidates should be proficient in common office and accounting software and willing to learn new audit tools and technologies.
• Candidates who have strong artificial intelligence skills have an advantage.

Salary range

$3,500 and more for fresh graduates that do not have internship with us.

$4,000 and more for candidates with relevant experience or fresh graduates with internship with us.
