Role Overview:

As a Sales Designer, you will play a critical role in driving the company’s growth by blending your creative design skills with your ability to generate and close sales. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, developing design solutions, and presenting these solutions in a compelling way. Your ultimate goal is to translate client needs into exceptional interior spaces while achieving sales targets.

UP TO 4% PROJECT COMMISSION

We want designers who are motivated to grow their income together with their portfolio.

Basic Salary: RM2,500 – RM3,000

PLUS

Commission of up to 4% based on project value.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation:

• Meet with potential clients to understand their interior design needs and project requirements.
• Present design concepts, proposals, and mood boards that align with client vision and project goals.

Collaboration & Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop detailed designs, floor plans, and 3D renderings.
• Customize design solutions based on client feedback, budget constraints, and project timelines.

Sales & Business Development:

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, actively seeking out new leads and projects.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and sales pitches to potential clients.
• Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a smooth handover to the project execution team.
• Achieve sales targets set by the management team.

Project Management:

• Oversee project progress to ensure design intent is being followed and client expectations are met.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Industry Knowledge:

• Stay current with trends in interior design, materials, and industry innovations.
• Attend relevant industry events, exhibitions, and workshops to network and generate leads.

Qualifications:

• Possesses at least Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Designer or related field.
• Proven experience in sales, ideally in the interior design or related industry.
• Strong design sense and creativity with a portfolio of relevant projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to balance aesthetics with client needs, timelines, and budgets.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing deals.
• A self-motivated, goal-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
