Position Description
The position supports the HR team based in Singapore. This is a varied, hands-on role in which you will help create a smooth employee experience from first day to last.
You should have the ability to multi‐task while maintaining a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, timeliness and first class client service.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding: Coordinate processes such as onboarding, HR inductions, pre-employment checks, transfers and offboarding.
- Keep HR operations running smoothly: Maintain accurate Workday records and digital files, prepare employment letters, track probation and contract milestones, manage medical insurance enrolments and terminations.
- Coordinate payroll: Provide monthly updates to Payroll Team, prepare leave calculations for leavers
- Deliver timely reporting: prepare reports as requested.
- Be a first point of contact: Answer HR policy and benefits questions, escalating complex matters when needed.
- Maintain high levels of discretion when handling confidential information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field
- 2 – 5 years relevant HR experience, ideally from Banking and Finance industry
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as HR Analyst
- Sound knowledge of Singapore employment regulations
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data management, formulas, lookups, pivot tables and basic reporting.
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable identifying opportunities to improve processes through technology and automation.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
