Job description:

We are looking for a Commissioning Project Manager to join our Malaysia team in Johor Bahru or Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will lead the project commissioning team and manage the entire commissioning process for the project to ensure the flawless commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage the commissioning process and ensure client requirements are met.
• Attend and chair commissioning meetings with GC, vendors, and client.
• Develop and submit the Commissioning Plan.
• Communicate the Commissioning Plan to all project stakeholders to ensure they understand and buy-in to the commissioning process for the project.
• Conduct Cx workshops including Cx Kick-Off meetings with client, GC and vendors.
• Track commissioning progress and report regularly to the project team.
• Identify and highlight project risks, and prepare weekly and monthly reports as required.
• Manage stakeholder relationships effectively and drive issue resolution.
• Manage technical, commercial, and interface risks.
• Lead overall commissioning strategy, planning, execution, and close-out.
• Drive final system acceptance, turnover documentation, and project close-out.
• Coach Cx Engineers and Cx Leads on technical, leadership and project management.
• Serve as the single point of accountability for commissioning delivery.
• Report project progress internally.
• Manage and report on project financial and contractual risks.
• Prepare invoicing forecasts and supporting documentation.

Requirements and skills

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• Expert knowledge of the commissioning process.
• Strong project management, Cx activity sequencing, and leadership skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and manage risks proactively.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Strong decision-making ability under schedule and operational pressure.
• Fluency in English.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
