We’re hiring: Social Media Executive

Pet Lovers Centre is looking for a creative, commercially minded and data-driven Social Media Executive to grow our presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.


What you’ll do

  • Develop strategic and creative content plans aligned with PLC’s brand objectives
  • Craft compelling content and storyboards for social media and video
  • Plan publishing schedules and coordinate channel activities with agency partners
  • Work with internal and external creative teams to produce engaging digital content
  • Manage suppliers’ requirements and social media activities
  • Plan influencer collaborations, including the PLC Brand Ambassador Programme
  • Support live-streaming, social commerce campaigns and selected weekend events
  • Analyse engagement, reach and conversion data to improve content performance


What we’re looking for

  • Degree in Marketing or a related discipline
  • 3–4 years of relevant social media experience, preferably in retail
  • Strong business acumen and an understanding of how content supports brand and business growth
  • Proficiency in Canva, CapCut and AI-assisted video tools
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio and TikTok Analytics
  • Strong multitasking, critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Comfortable appearing on camera is an advantage
