What You'll Do

• Be the go-to person for application operations, helping users resolve system issues and keeping business activities running smoothly.
• Investigate and troubleshoot incidents by identifying root causes, reproducing issues, and working towards timely resolution.
• Own issues from start to finish, ensuring incidents are properly tracked, followed up, and closed with clear outcomes.
• Work closely with business users, developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors to coordinate fixes and resolve complex application issues.
• Keep an eye on system health and operations, including integrations, scheduled jobs, transaction processing, and potential failures.
• Support application releases and production deployments, including post-deployment checks to make sure everything is working as expected.
• Handle operational exceptions, such as failed transactions, data issues, and reprocessing activities, while ensuring proper controls are followed.
• Keep stakeholders informed with clear updates on issue impact, investigation progress, workarounds, and resolutions.
• Build and maintain useful support knowledge, including troubleshooting guides, known issues, procedures, and lessons learned.
• Look beyond the immediate fix by spotting recurring issues, identifying improvement opportunities, and helping make applications more stable, efficient, and user-friendly.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Candidate with 1 year of working experience and knowledge in operation analyst/ application support, troubleshoot and perform rootcause analysis will be an additional advantage.
• Understanding of insurance products, processes in business operations, analysis and solutioning will be an additional advantage.
