The opportunity

People Advisory Services (PAS) shapes and helps deliver the part of business strategy that depends on people. As a PAS professional, you will have the opportunity to work with global clients to understand and address some of their largest and most complex people-related challenges and ultimately improve and drive valuable and sustainable business results. We focus on engagements that relate to performance, talent, systems, reward, mobility and analytics.

Supported by a highly integrated network of professionals, our teams provide support and advice on global immigration issues as well as obtaining the relevant permits and other documentation. We assist clients in business immigration compliance, business immigration advisory and global immigration co-ordination. The incumbent assists our internal and external clients in dealing with local immigration issues.

Our Guyana office is recruiting for Staff within the PAS area of our Tax Service Line.

Your key responsibilities

• Provide oversight on immigration documents being prepared, vet all relevant immigration requests and ensure alignment with statutory stipulations.
• Provide Immigration Advice to clients within the engagement portfolio effectively
• Ensure timely and accurate updates in immigration database for clients' immigration information.
• Establish and maintain relationship with Guyana’s local immigration authority.
• Coordinate with management team on client’s request, liaising directly with clients to understand demands and service needs.
• Flag any queries, observations or new trends and stipulations with local immigration law.

What we look for

• Solid academic background holding a Bachelor’s degree in any business related discipline
• One year or above of related experience in the fields of People advisory, Global Mobility, and/or Immigration, experience working in multinational companies with expatriate management will be an asset
• Supervisory experience is mandatory
• Experienced in dealing with local Immigration Authority preferable
  • Relevant experience levels will be assessed accordingly
