Tanggungjawab

Job Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, upgrade, patch and migrate Oracle and SQL Server databases.
  • Manage database users, roles, permissions, schemas and storage.
  • Monitor database performance, availability and capacity, and perform SQL/database tuning.
  • Manage backup and recovery, including RMAN, Data Guard, Always On, Replication and Log Shipping.
  • Support high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR) and recovery testing.
  • Implement database security, access controls, encryption, auditing and vulnerability remediation.
  • Troubleshoot database incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA) and support major incidents.
  • Develop automation using PowerShell, Shell Script, T-SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, recovery procedures and technical documentation.
  • Support database migration, application deployment, cloud database and infrastructure projects.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, application, security and vendor teams.
  • Participatein on call/after-hours support when required.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Technical Requirements

Oracle

  • Oracle11g/12c/19c/21c
  • RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, OEM
  • PL/SQL and performance tuning using AWR/ASH

Microsoft SQL Server

  • SQL Server2016/2019/2022
  • Always On, Failover Clustering, Replication
  • SSMS, SSIS, SSRS
  • T-SQL and performance tuning

General

  • Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
  • PowerShell /Shell scripting
  • Backup and monitoring tools
  • VMware /Hyper-V
  • Azure/AWS database environments is an advantage

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server in enterprise production environments.
  • Strong experience in database administration, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with HA/DR and backup/recovery.
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and handle critical production incidents.
  • OCP, OCM, Microsoft SQL/Azure Database or ITIL certification is an advantage.
