Key Responsibilities:

Test Development & Production Support

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product requirements and design specifications.
• Support daily production activities by resolving test-related technical issues and lot disposition.
• Review and analyze test data to ensure conformance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor product, yield, and test performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and present test performance reports to management and engineering teams.

Test Equipment & Troubleshooting

• Operate and maintain electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal measurement tools.
• Troubleshoot test failures, equipment issues, and process abnormalities to minimize production downtime.
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support preventive maintenance and calibration activities for test equipment..

New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Support engineering activities during new product introduction (NPI) from prototype to mass production.
• Simplify product test flow and ensure test program readiness before production ramp-up.
• Validate test setups, fixtures, and test processes for new products.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product transfer.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and quality performance.
• Identify opportunities for cycle time reduction and cost optimization.
• Utilize problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC, and DOE.
• Implement engineering solutions to improve yield and manufacturing performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Test Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, NPI, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with Central and Site teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Support customer requirements and technical discussions when necessary.
• Participate actively in problem-solving and improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronic Engineering
• Computer Science
• Computer Engineering
• Related disciplines

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in Test Engineering, Electronics Manufacturing, or EMS environment.
• Fresh graduates with relevant academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of electronic circuits, schematics, and signal measurement techniques.
• Familiar with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing test processes and yield analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
