Job Purpose

The position of a Programme Coordinator is a vital role in ensuring that the programme management of the respective programme is handled well and efficiently. A programme coordinator assists the head of school in planning and executing strategic activities and makes sure that programme/s assigned functions effectively. To create an overall student experience that is excellent and enriching.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

· School and Programme Management

o School Strategic Direction

§ Assist the Head of School in the management of industry collaborations, advisory boards, and external examiners.

o Compliance Management

§ The implementations of strategies of all elements pertaining to governing bodies are in lined with the recommended GGP. - MQA, MyQuest, Audits, Advisory Boards

o Academic staff management and supervision

§ Ensuring the maximization of academic team workload and the monitoring of teaching quality of the school.

§ Workload Allocation, module planning, teaching evaluation/review

§ School resource management – maximization of teaching loads, monitoring of teaching team

§ Ensuring the compliance of programme SOPs and documentation for Audit requirements.

o Internal and External Stakeholder Management,

§ Ensure effective and clear stakeholder management.

§ Student Support and Monitoring – Enhancement of Student experience.

§ Primary liaison with parents and guardians. § Monitoring of weak / progression students.

o Curriculum Update

§ Annual Curriculum Development, Review and Updates.

. School Teaching and Learning Activities

o Monitoring of all teaching activities of academic team in compliance to regulations and standards.

o Monitoring and supervision of all post semester documentation.
