Job Description: Veterinary Assistant /Nurse

Neko Inu Veterinary Centre are currently looking for 2 full time Veterinary Assistant.

This position suit someone who is reliable, genuine love and passionate about care for animals. You will be well-supported with lots of opportunities to learn.

Tasks you may be involved in include:

• Assisting veterinarians in consultations and surgeries. To perform duties as may be required by the veterinarians pertaining to clinic’s work.
• Assisting the veterinarian in updating medical records both written (medical hospitalization chart) and on the practice software program (computer).
• Preparing animals for surgery.
• Monitor and care for animals pre/post surgery.
• Feeding and care for patients and boarders.
• Collect samples such as blood, urine, or tissue for testing.
• Administer medications and vaccines, and treatments prescribed by a veterinarian.
• To perform laboratory tests when instructed.
• Work together with the team during periodic stock take of the clinic.

Requirement:

• Candidates must be comfortable in handling dogs and cats. With or without experience are welcomed as we do provide on the job training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
