Role Overview

Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, vendor deliveries, LMW customs compliance, and environmental standards (ISO 14001) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement & Planning: Issue POs based on material planning, expedite vendor deliveries, and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
• Cost & Coordination: Perform price comparisons for indirect materials and coordinate cross-department procurement requests.
• LMW & Customs Compliance: Audit courier import Declaration Forms against LMW Exemption approvals prior to endorsement.
• Green Procurement & Waste: Source eco-friendly materials, enforce environmental conformance labeling, and oversee scheduled waste segregation/disposal.

Requirements

• 2+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of LMW procedures, customs declarations, and duty exemptions.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and Scheduled Waste Management regulations.
• Strong negotiation, tracking, and analytical skills.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
