Job Summary
You will support the development and teaching of pre-school children by engaging them through play and hands-on activities, delivering lessons aligned with the centre’s curriculum, and maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver lessons that follow the centre’s curriculum to support children’s learning and development
Engage and motivate children through play and hands-on activities to enhance their participation and learning outcomes
Provide routine care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day
Maintain the classroom environment to ensure it is clean, safe, and conducive to learning
Work independently with minimal supervision to manage daily classroom activities effectively
Use computer skills to support administrative or teaching-related tasks as required
Communicate clearly and positively with children, colleagues, and parents to foster a collaborative learning environment
Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn to continuously improve teaching practices and classroom management
Collaborate as a cheerful and enthusiastic team player to support centre goals and activities
Required competencies and certifications
Minimum ACEY / C-ECCE / D-ECCE certification
Valid First Aid certification
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Computer literacy
Positive attitude including cheerfulness, enthusiasm, and teamwork
Willingness to learn and take initiative
