Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline. An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
• More than 20 years of relevant experience in logistics operations, general management, strategy, commercial management, or business leadership.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in senior leadership positions, preferably within logistics, distribution, supply chain, or a related industry.
• Proven track record in driving operational excellence, leading transformation projects, optimising systems and processes, and supporting business expansion.
• Strong experience in managing P&L, budgets, KPIs, and multi-functional operations across a distribution network.
• Hands-on, analytical, and execution-focused, with strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proven leadership experience in developing and managing senior teams within a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with CEOs, Board members, and senior management.

Job Summary:

Develop and transform the company’s operational strategic direction into clear objectives and actionable plans, while driving and strengthening operational excellence and identifying new operational and business opportunities. The role is also responsible for ensuring effective corporate governance and developing high-performing leaders and teams.

This key role oversees the day-to-day operations across the entire distribution centre network in a dynamic operational environment, while maintaining a strong focus on sustainable performance, business growth, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate the company’s strategic vision into a clear business roadmap, operating strategy, initiatives, performance targets, and actionable SOPs across the organisation.
• Work closely with the CEOs and Business Unit Heads to develop and execute operational strategies and project-based initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Establish strong performance management and accountability through regular KPI monitoring and reporting; identify performance gaps and operational bottlenecks, and lead timely corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Drive scalable growth across the distribution network through cost optimisation, system and technology enhancement, process improvement, and capacity utilisation, while maintaining required quality and service levels.
• Collaborate closely with functional leaders across Store Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Commercial, Marketing, Business Units, and other corporate functions to ensure effective coordination and execution of business priorities.
• Ensure effective governance, compliance, risk management, and internal controls across the distribution network.
• Anticipate operational risks, develop appropriate mitigation plans, and ensure critical operational issues are escalated and resolved promptly.
• Build a high-performance culture by attracting, developing, retaining, and motivating strong leadership and operational talent.
• Champion the Group’s values, culture, and operating standards, ensuring they are consistently embedded across all levels of the distribution network.
• Provide the CEO and Board with regular updates on business performance, operational challenges, key risks, strategic initiatives, and recommended actions.
