GAOTek & Aperture Venture Studio are seeking PhD students for a 3–6 month AI & IoT Research Internship.

Join our Research & Development (R&D) team and contribute to Physical AI, AIoT, IoT, AI/ML, intelligent sensing, Edge AI, connected systems, and emerging technologies through research, experiments, prototypes, and proof-of-concept development.

What You’ll Work On

• Support AI/IoT research, experiments, and literature reviews

• Research emerging technologies and applications

• Develop and test prototypes and proof-of-concept systems

• Work with sensors, connected devices, and edge/cloud platforms

• Apply AI/ML to IoT-generated data

• Prepare technical documentation and research reports

• Explore practical and commercial applications

• Collaborate with R&D researchers, engineers, and technical professionals

Who Should Apply?

• PhD students from Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, IoT, Robotics, Embedded Systems, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or other relevant STEM and technical disciplines.

• Relevant coursework, research, projects, laboratory, or technical experience is encouraged. Knowledge of AI/ML, IoT, sensors, embedded systems, programming, data analysis, edge/cloud computing, robotics, computer vision, or digital twins is valuable. Experience in every area is not required.
