Is responsible for safe and efficient management of Maintenance activities (Maintenance superintendent) on board the installation or act as the main onshore focal point for all operational (Operations super intendent) issues associated with offshore installation.
All activities will be performed in accordance with Company's Corporate Management System.
Responsibilities & Achievements
- Ensure on-going, safe operation of asset or maintenance activities in line with budget, planning, quality & HSEQ guidelines and company procedures.
- Review, assess and progress operational or maintenance issues through to completion.
- Ensure that issues requiring attention outside own capabilities are adequately addressed in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure that conflict and clashes in work programme do not occur.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure an up-to-date, timely and complete administration and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local legislation and industry best practice and advise of risks and opportunities associated with compliance and implements agreed solutions.
- If applicable, prioritise work of assigned employees or contractors.
- Reviewing, assessing and progressing operational issues through to completion.
- Manages and coordinates installation modifications and operational queries in conjunction with the Asset Manager.
- Liaises with discipline engineers, other departments and external parties when required, to ensure that operational issues requiring attention outside own capabilities are adequately addressed in a safe and timely manner.
- Responsible for delivering the yearly and 28-day asset plan.
- Directs the asset planner and the offshore management team regarding the installation look ahead planning (short and long term) to ensure that conflict and clashes in the work programme do not occur.
- Ensures where appropriate that work packs, resources and materials are delivered offshore in a timely manner in line with planning requirements.
- Deputises for the Asset Manager when required.
Requirements: -
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
- 5+ years working as superintendent
- Good understanding of a multicultural, 24/7 production environment.
- Willingness to perform activities abroad (onshore or offshore)
