Senior Interior Designer

Salary: RM4,000 per month + Sales Commission

VELORA DESIGN & BUILD SDN. BHD. is looking for a Senior Interior Designer with strong design, client communication and sales skills to join our growing team.

This is an office-based position at Jade Hills, Kajang, with regular client meetings and site visits. The successful candidate will be involved from the initial client enquiry and consultation through design development, quotation discussion and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to new enquiries and communicate professionally with potential clients.
• Understand clients’ requirements, preferred design style, budget and timeline.
• Conduct site visits, site measurements and client consultations.
• Prepare space planning, design concepts, mood boards, 2D drawings and 3D presentations.
• Present design proposals confidently to clients.
• Follow up with leads and assist in converting enquiries into confirmed projects.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and the internal project team.
• Review site progress to ensure the design is implemented correctly.
• Handle design revisions and client feedback professionally.
• Maintain proper documentation and provide regular project/lead updates to management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field.
• Preferably 3+ years of relevant interior design experience.
• Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, carpentry and interior renovation works.
• Proficient in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3D rendering software.
• Good communication, presentation and client-handling skills.
• Sales-oriented mindset with confidence in following up and closing clients.
• Able to attend site visits and coordinate multiple projects.
• Responsible, organised, creative and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Must be willing to work on-site at our Jade Hills, Kajang office.
• Possessing own transport and a valid driving licence is preferred.

Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary: RM4,000/month+ Attractive Sales Commission
