Solution Architect

Salary: RM8,000 – RM12,000
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to oversee the design and technical direction of business solutions. The successful candidate will translate business needs into practical technology solutions and work closely with various teams to ensure systems are reliable, secure, scalable and aligned with business objectives.

You will provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from understanding requirements and developing solution designs to supporting implementation and improving existing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop solution designs and architecture based on business and technical requirements.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges and expected outcomes.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements where required.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to developers and technical teams.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet requirements for scalability, security, performance and maintainability.
• Work closely with infrastructure and development teams to ensure smooth technical implementation.
• Prepare solution documentation, architecture diagrams and technical specifications.
• Assess technology options and recommend suitable solutions based on project needs.
• Keep up to date with new technologies, architecture practices and industry developments.
• Take on other technical or project-related responsibilities when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture or a similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, application integration and solution design.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, system sizing and security considerations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to work independently as well as provide technical leadership to project teams.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or TOGAF will be an added advantage.

Pay: Up to RM12,000.00 per month
