Job Description1. Incoming Material Quality Inspection
a) Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials to ensure they meet approved specifications and quality requirements.
b) Check the condition, labelling, identification, and overall status of materials upon delivery.
c) Detect, record, and report any non-conforming materials to the immediate superior and relevant departments for appropriate follow-up.
d) Serve as the main Quality Control personnel responsible for incoming material inspections.
2. Incoming Quality Document Checking
a) Review and verify quality-related documents received with incoming materials, including Certificates of Analysis (COA), Certificates of Conformance (COC), delivery documents, and other relevant supplier documents.
b) Ensure all required documents are complete, accurate, and in accordance with company requirements before materials are accepted.
3. Sampling and Quality Testing
a) Carry out sampling of incoming raw materials and packaging materials based on established sampling procedures.
b) Perform visual inspections and relevant quality checks to confirm that materials meet the approved specifications.
c) Arrange for samples to be sent for laboratory testing or additional verification when necessary.
4. Incoming QC Records and Reporting
a) Maintain complete and accurate records of incoming QC inspections, test results, and non-conformance findings.
b) Update the daily Incoming QC Tracking File on the designated company server (Samba) to maintain proper traceability and monitoring.
c) Prepare and submit Incoming QC Inspection Reports to the immediate superior within the required timeline.
5. Packaging Specification and Reference Sample Control
a) Maintain and update Packaging Specification records on the designated company server whenever new packaging materials or suppliers are introduced.
b) Ensure the Colour Folder and Metal Folder are regularly updated with the latest approved packaging reference samples for inspection purposes.
6. Warehouse Pest Monitoring
a) Perform routine warehouse inspections to identify any signs or evidence of pest activity in accordance with the established Pest Control Programme.
b) Record and report any pest-related findings to the immediate superior for further investigation and corrective action.
7. Finished Product and Outgoing Inspection
a) Inspect finished products before shipment to ensure compliance with approved product specifications, packaging standards, food safety and quality requirements, and customer requirements.
b) Check product appearance, packaging condition, labelling, coding, pallet condition, container cleanliness, and overall shipment condition before loading.
c) Verify product details such as batch number, manufacturing date (MFG), expiry date (EXP), quantity, and other relevant identification information before shipment.
d) Identify, document, and report any product non-conformance or quality deviation to the immediate superior and relevant departments for necessary action.
e) Ensure that only finished products which meet the required quality standards are approved for shipment.
f) Act as the main Quality Control representative for outgoing product inspection activities.
8. Shipment Documentation Assistance
a) Provide batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and other required product information to the Shipping Department for shipment documentation purposes.
b) Work closely with the Shipping Department to address and resolve any quality-related issues before product loading.
9. Outgoing QC Records and Documentation
a) Take clear photographs of finished products, pallet conditions, and container loading activities during outgoing inspections.
b) Upload inspection photographs to the designated company server (Samba) for traceability, audit purposes, and future reference.
c) Complete and submit Outgoing QC Inspection Reports accurately and within the required timeframe.
d) Maintain proper and up-to-date outgoing inspection records, including inspection reports and photographic evidence, to support product traceability, audits, customer requirements, and quality investigations.
Requirements:
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
