As part of our expansion plan to continue to push our boundaries to transform healthcare through medicaleducation and delivering our promise to create a better life for all and henceraising the standards of medical care, we are seeking to recruit a DigitalProduct Designer (UI/UX).

We are looking for ahighly creative and skilled Digital Product Designer with a strong backgroundin graphic design and proven experience in mobile app design. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for user-centered design(UX), and the ability to create visually stunning and effective digital products (UI). This role is focused on delivering a high-quality, scalableproduct from discovery to launch.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to create user-centric designs for mobile applications, eCommerce marketplaces, and web platforms.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and iterate on designs based on feedback.
• Create and maintain design systems and ensure consistency across all digital products.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve design processes and outcomes.
• Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind design choices.
• Work closely with developers, especially front-end developers, to ensure the implementation of designs meets the highest quality standards.
• Produce high-quality illustrations to enhance the visual appeal of digital products.
• Utilise design thinking methodologies to solve complex design challenges and create innovative solutions.
• Design and develop visually appealing and effective web landing pages.
• Create digital collaterals and banners for various platforms.
• Define product design vision, hypotheses, and assumptions through a Condensed Discovery & Lean UX Canvas.
• Map the market and identify differentiators through Competitor Analysis & Product Comparison.
• Create personas and plan research by identifying target users and developing a research plan.
• Validate core flow assumptions before heavy design work by recruiting users and conducting early usability tests.
• Map out app/site structure and navigation flow by designing the Information Architecture.
• Explore flows quickly with Low-Fidelity Rapid Prototypes, such as wireframes and sketches.
• Define reusable UI components, typography, and colour palettes by developing a Core Design System.
• Align with software developers on UI technical feasibility for mobile.
• Prepare specifications and assets, and collaborate with the software development team for handoff.
• Validate the near-final product with internal QA and target users through a Final Usability Test for MVP.
• Align with the marketing team on app store launch, collaterals, and digital media content prior to MVP launch.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in digital product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile app, web design, eCommerce marketplace design, and web landing page design projects.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and user interface (UI) design best practices.
• Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for typography, colour, and layout.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Proficiency in web design principles and best practices.
• Strong illustration skills and experience in creating digital artwork.
• Knowledge of how to collaborate effectively with front-end developers.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with motion design and creating animations for mobile applications.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Optional skills in creating EDM (Electronic Direct Mail) and social media graphical templates.
