Location: Malaysia (Hybrid)

Salary: RM7,000 – RM9,000 per month

Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to lead and deliver enterprise software projects from concept to production. You will be responsible for system architecture, software development, deployment, technical leadership, and stakeholder engagement across multiple digital transformation initiatives.

Projects include:

• Government digital services

• e-Visa and immigration systems

• Digital identity platforms

• Investigation and compliance systems

• Mobile and web applications

• OCR and document verification solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software delivery from requirements gathering to deployment.

• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures.

• Develop and review application code across frontend, backend, and APIs.

• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders.

• Manage SIT, UAT, deployment, and production support activities.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure system reliability.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices.

• Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.

• Proven experience delivering enterprise or government systems.

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, databases, system architecture, SDLC, cloud and Linux environments.

• Experience leading technical teams and interacting with clients.
