Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) to join our project team. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices on site, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations, and maintaining a zero-accident workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

Promote, monitor, enforce, advise and ensure continual safety & health implementation in compliance with legal, OSH Management System and organizational requirements including:

• Implement and enforce comprehensive safety and health policies, procedures, regulations, and instructions tailored to project-specific and legal requirements.

• Conduct practical safety training programs, including toolbox talks and safety awareness workshops.

• Lead accident and incident investigations promptly, reporting outcomes to supervisors and recommending corrective measures.

• Perform daily workplace safety inspections, identify unsafe acts, emerging safety risks and coordinate immediate corrective actions to prevent incidents and implement proactive controls

• Conduct hazard assessments for all controlled activities, document findings, and establish effective preventive strategies.

• Organize and lead regular emergency preparedness drills, ensuring all workers understand emergency protocols and response actions.

• Collaborate closely with site and project management teams to integrate safety practices seamlessly into all operational facets.

• Ensure availability, proper use, and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including routine inspections to uphold compliance and worker safety.

• Carry out any other duties that are within the scope and grading of the post which could also be requested by the line manager/superior or Head of Depatments

What we're looking for

• Min Diploma or Bachelor Degree in any related field

• Minimum with 3 years of experience in handling OSH Management System

• Priority to whom possess a Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health

• MUST registered as Site Safety Supervisor (Valid Yellow Book Holder) with DOSH

• Problem-solving and analytical thinking

• Excellent knowledge of local SHE legislation and SHE Management System requirements

• Good SHE technical knowledge
