Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the hospital's National Costing Exercise (NCE) and other costing-related submissions to ensure compliance with national costing guidelines and reporting requirements.
- Serve as a Finance Business Partner to clinical and operational stakeholders, providing financial insights and support for decision-making.
- Perform costing, pricing, and financial analysis for healthcare services, programmes, and initiatives.
- Support the evaluation of the financial viability of capital expenditure requests, business cases, and strategic projects.
- Manage and maintain the hospital's SAP Controlling (CO) master data and costing-related configurations to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Partner with IT consultants and vendors in the implementation, enhancement, testing, and yearly maintenance of the hospital's costing systems.
- Analyse cost drivers, utilisation trends, and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement and value creation.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and other finance-related initiatives as assigned.
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in costing, pricing, SAP, or business partnering would be advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively across clinical, operational, and technical teams.
- Experience working with large datasets, financial models, and system implementation projects is preferred.
