Qualifications

• Possess a valid Steam Engineer Certificate of Competency Grade 1 or 2 from DOSH Malaysia.
• Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in boiler and steam turbine operations.
• Minimum Degree Holder

Responsibilities

• Comply, support and follows all company policies, procedures and all statutory requirements within area of responsibility and ensure taking care of own health, safety and environment at all time.
• Responsible to follow the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Amendment 2024).
• Responsible to ensure operation and maintenance of boiler station comply with the Occupational Safety and Health (Plant Requiring Certificate Of Fitness) Regulations 2024.
• Aware & comply on all GMP standard practices inside MSMJ.
• Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of boilers, steam turbines, PRDS, STV, water treatment plant and cooling tower.
• Responsible to supervise and coordinate works carried out at Boiler House, Power House, Water Treatment Plant, and equipment/vessel related to Boiler Department operation whether by internally or external parties.
• Responsible for the manning of boilers, steam turbines, water treatment plant and cooling tower.
• Responsible to prepare the monthly natural gas consumption and boiler performance report.
• Responsible to identify, investigate and solve breakdown or issues related to operation of boiler station.
• Responsible to prepare breakdown report.
• Responsible for smooth supply of steam, water and natural gas to process.
• Responsible to prepare, manage and monitor boilers and other pressurized vessels maintenance schedules and work for DOSH inspection.
• Responsible to raise purchase and work requisition, check consumable items and equipment stocks.
• Responsible to maintain good housekeeping, create safe area at work place and keep all tool at proper place.
• Responsible to communicate and coordinate with related department regarding steam, power and water supply.
• Responsible to sign PTW as area owner and ensure equipment/vessel/machine isolated and purged/drained if required.
• Responsible to identify projects, SOP and WI for the purpose of improving operation performance.
• Responsible to carry out other task specified by Lead Boiler.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
