Job Description
- Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
- Manage vendor relationships and address any payment-related queries or disputes.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts payable transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Prepare and present accounts payable reports to management as needed.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.
A Successful Assistant AP Manager Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge & experience in end to end accounts payable processes and from a Global Shared Services enviornement. (MUST HAVE)
- Comes with at least 1-2 years of experience leading a team. (MUST HAVE)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive salary range of MYR 9000 to MYR 10000.
