Job Responsibilities

• Conduct marine surveys and inspections of vessels, cargo, equipment and related marine operations in accordance with the assigned scope of work.
• Attend vessel inspections, cargo surveys and other marine-related assignments at ports, terminals, anchorages and other designated locations.
• Examine vessel condition, cargo condition and relevant operational details, and record findings accurately during each survey.
• Collect measurements, photographs, documents and other supporting information required for survey reports.
• Review relevant vessel, cargo and shipping documentation to assist in determining the condition and circumstances of the subject matter under inspection.
• Prepare clear and accurate survey reports, inspection findings and supporting documentation within the required timeframe.
• Communicate with shipowners, operators, agents, terminal personnel, cargo interests and other parties during survey assignments.
• Coordinate survey arrangements, including attendance schedules, site access and communication with relevant parties.
• Follow established survey procedures, safety requirements and professional standards while carrying out field assignments.
• Maintain proper records of survey activities, observations, photographs and supporting documents for future reference.
• Carry out other marine inspection or survey-related duties as assigned by the company.

Pay: $4,500.00 - $6,500.00 per month
