At CatsnCo, we are a boutique, cage-free cattery dedicated to raising well-socialised pedigree kittens in a clean, safe and loving environment.

We’re looking for a full-time Senior Kitten Care & Sales Associate who has experience in pet industry, and genuinely loves cats and is responsible, gentle and attentive. As consistency is important for our kittens, we’re seeking someone who can commit to working with us on a long-term basis.

Job Scope

Kitten Care

• Provide daily care for kittens, including feeding, cleaning, grooming and playtime
• Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene and general upkeep of the cattery
• Monitor the kittens’ health, appetite and behaviour, and promptly report any concerns
• Assist with basic socialisation and behaviour training

Sales

• Assist viewers during kitten viewing sessions
• Introduce suitable kittens and support customers throughout the adoption process
• Need to have sales related job experience
• Commission is given for each successful adoption of kitten

Working Hours & Salary

Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm

Salary: $2,400 per month

Overtime: Time off in lieu or $12 per hour

Requirements

• Genuinely loves cats and understands that caring for them involves more than simply finding them cute
• Passionate, loves doing sales and matching kittens to the right family
• Patient, gentle, responsible and detail-oriented
• Observant and able to recognise possible signs that a kitten is unwell and assist in administering simple medications with management approval
• Physically comfortable with cleaning, lifting supplies and the daily upkeep of the cattery
• Prior experience as a cat pawrent or in an animal-related role at least for 1 year
• At least 1 year sales or customer-service experience
• Willing to learn and follow our care and hygiene protocols closely
• Able to work independently and follow daily routines consistently
