Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Developer role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Junior Developer will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications and platform features that support TactLink’s engagement ecosystem. Typical tasks include implementing front-end and back-end code, fixing bugs, performing code reviews under guidance, and writing unit tests to ensure software quality. The role involves collaborating closely with senior developers, product managers, and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions. The Junior Developer will also help document technical specifications, support deployments, and continuously learn new tools and frameworks to improve development practices.
Qualifications

• Foundational programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, and familiarity with at least one web framework (e.g., React, Vue, Node.js, or similar).
• Basic understanding of databases and APIs, including experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and RESTful or GraphQL services.
• Knowledge of software development practices such as version control (Git), testing, debugging, and code documentation.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to learn new technologies quickly in a collaborative environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps tools, or UI/UX fundamentals is an advantage.
