Job Summary

Leads the maintenance team and to oversee daily operations; conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of the Hotel building’s equipment, tools, facilities, and services; investigate and identify root causes of existing maintenance issues and take proper remedial actions; research on potential maintenance problems and recommend proper preventive actions; propose necessary improvements of the building by taking into the consideration all safety regulations, local codes, cost and priority in accordance with business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain a comprehensive preventative maintenance system (PMS) with clear KPIs to measure
• Ensure all the building’s facilities, services and operating equipment are always maintained in good working condition, with and including conducting proper inspection of the maintenance works done by the technicians and/or contractors
• Ensure all stock and inventory of spare parts and any other goods & materials at the Maintenance Stores are properly kept, recorded, and be closely monitored on the balance and new orders to be placed
• Ensure all operating equipment can be operated at its optimum level with the lowest energy consumption possible; constantly seek for new/better utilities cost saving solutions, keeping yourself updated on new technologies
• Work seamlessly with the respective department head concerned for the design and costing of all new upgrading work projects and ensure that implementation is within the stipulated time frame and budget set

Requirements

• Proven experience in Maintenance field (facilities) preferably with the hospitality industry
• Possess good knowledge on modern maintenance management & planning and strong technical skills on building services & systems (ie. air-conditioning & mechanical ventilation, hot & cold-water plumbing, sanitary, kitchen specialist works, electrical, etc)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Computer savvy
