Ocean Purpose Project (OPP) is a Singapore-based ocean conservation social enterprise dedicated to addressing critical environmental challenges through innovative, community-driven solutions. We work at the intersection of sustainability, climate action, and the blue economy by developing impactful projects focused on ocean conservation, plastic pollution prevention, circular economy solutions, and environmental education.

Through strategic partnerships with businesses, governments, NGOs, academic institutions, and local communities, Ocean Purpose Project creates scalable initiatives that drive meaningful environmental and social impact. Our mission is to empower individuals and organizations to become active stewards of healthier oceans and a more sustainable future.

Responsibilities

• Support the identification and research of potential partners, sponsors, and collaborators.
• Assist in stakeholder outreach and relationship management activities.
• Conduct market research and mapping of organizations within the sustainability, blue economy, and social impact sectors.
• Support partnership proposal development, presentations, and partnership materials.
• Assist in coordinating meetings, follow-ups, and partnership discussions.
• Maintain and update partnership databases, records, and tracking systems.
• Support project development and cross-functional initiatives involving external stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development and strategic growth opportunities for Ocean Purpose Project.

Requirements

• Final-year student, recent graduate, or currently pursuing studies in Business, Communications, Marketing, International Relations, Sustainability, Social Sciences, or related disciplines.
• Passionate about sustainability, ocean conservation, and social impact.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent research and organizational abilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders and working in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is an advantage.
• Candidates based in Singapore will be preferred.
