Role Overview
Responsible for managing and growing the company’s digital presence across social media and online platforms. The role covers content scheduling, copywriting, community engagement, social media growth, digital advertising, SEO and GEO initiatives, with a focus on increasing brand awareness, audience engagement and online visibility.

Social Media Management

• Manage and maintain the company’s social media accounts across relevant platforms.
• Plan, schedule and publish content according to the monthly content calendar.
• Write engaging captions and copy tailored to each platform and target audience.
• Ensure all content is posted accurately and consistently according to brand guidelines.
• Monitor comments, messages, trends and audience behaviour.

Social Media Growth & Engagement

• Develop initiatives to increase followers, engagement and overall account growth.
• Create interactive activities such as polls, quizzes, Q&As, questions and other engagement-driven content.
• Monitor social media performance and identify opportunities to improve reach and engagement.
• Stay updated on platform trends, algorithms, content formats and best practices.
• Analyse competitor and industry activity to identify relevant content opportunities.

Digital Advertising

• Assist in planning, setting up and managing digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok and Google.
• Monitor campaign performance, budget utilisation and key metrics.
• Conduct basic testing of creatives, audiences, placements and campaign objectives.
• Identify underperforming campaigns and recommend optimisation actions.
• Prepare regular reports on ad performance and provide insights for improvement.

SEO & GEO

• Support the implementation of SEO strategies to improve website and content visibility on search engines.
• Conduct basic keyword research and optimize website content, blogs, captions and other digital content where relevant.
• Understand and apply GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) principles to improve the brand’s visibility across AI-powered search and discovery platforms.
• Monitor search visibility, relevant keywords and online brand presence.
• Work with the relevant teams to ensure digital content is structured and optimised for search and AI discovery.

Content & Campaign Support

• Work closely with the Marketing and Creative teams to develop digital content aligned with campaigns and brand objectives.
• Provide digital insights and recommendations when planning campaigns.
• Ensure campaign content is distributed across the appropriate digital channels.
• Support product launches, promotions and other digital marketing initiatives.

Reporting & Analytics

• Track and report on social media growth, engagement, reach, website traffic and digital advertising performance.
• Maintain monthly and campaign-level digital performance reports.
• Analyse data to identify what is working, what is underperforming and what should be improved.
• Recommend actionable strategies based on performance data rather than simply reporting results.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience managing social media platforms, content publishing, and digital campaigns.
• Familiarity with social media analytics, paid advertising, SEO, and website performance tracking.
• Creative, analytical, and up-to-date with digital marketing trends, search, and AI/GEO visibility.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
