Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. The incumbent will manage the full communications and speaker experience across XR Summits' events. The role involves serving as the primary point of contact for speakers — coordinating invitations, confirmations, briefing materials, logistics and on-site liaison; driving social media engagement across the event's channels; and building relationships with media and PR partners to secure coverage and amplify the brand. In addition, the manager will oversee content management across the website, brochures, EDMs and stakeholder communications, and lead creative management — directing the production of social graphics, posters, digital ads and decks, whether produced in-house or with external designers and video partners. The role requires maintaining brand consistency across every touchpoint, coordinating multiple stakeholders in parallel, and tracking engagement and coverage to continuously improve results.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in communications, PR, marketing, content, or event management, ideally covering more than one of these areas
• Strong relationship-management skills, with the confidence to liaise with senior speakers, media, and partners
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with sharp attention to accuracy and brand consistencyHands-on proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social/EDM platforms, with the ability to direct creative output
• Experience managing social media channels and content calendars to grow reach and engagementEstablished media/PR contacts or a track record of securing coverage is an added advantage
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, able to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with XR, immersive technology, AI, gaming, Web3, or digital transformation industries is an added advantage
• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, PR, or related field is preferred
