Our Client, a reputable virtual bank are seeking a versatile, proactive, and creative HR professional to join their team. This unique role bridges the gap between structured HR governance and a vibrant company culture with talent development programs. You will split your focus between supporting key policy revamp projects and driving employee engagement through planning and executing memorable corporate events. Key Responsibilities
Employee Development & Culture Events
Event Planning & Conceptualization: Brainstorm, design, and pitch innovative ideas for employee engagement initiatives, cultural celebrations, team-building activities, and company-wide events.
End-to-End Event Execution: Own the entire event lifecycle—from initial budgeting and scheduling to on-site coordination and post-event evaluation.
Vendor Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage external vendors, event agencies, and suppliers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service delivery.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with internal stakeholders, committees, and departments to promote high participation and foster a positive, inclusive organizational culture.
HR Policy, Governance & Compliance
Policy Revamp Support: Assist the HR Manager in major policy revamp projects, collaborating with external consultants to enhance, align, and upgrade the bank’s HR Policies & Procedures framework.
Regulatory & Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with various internal units (Bank, People Centre of Excellence, Shared Services) to ensure HR operations comply with local regulations.
Audit & Document Management: Support internal and external audits by preparing and presenting necessary documentation. Conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance records are up-to-date and maintained centrally.
Reporting & Gap Analysis: Prepare and submit regulatory reports and surveys. Conduct proactive gap analyses to address compliance issues promptly.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, Language Studies, or a related field.
Experience:
At least 3 years of professional experience.
Prior experience in event organization, corporate engagement, or hospitality is highly preferred.
Experience or exposure to HR governance, compliance, or general HR functions within banks, brokers, or regulated financial institutions is a strong advantage.
Core Competencies:
Creative and proactive mindset with a passion for company culture and innovative employee experiences.
Strong event management skills, including planning, on-site execution, and vendor/budget management.
Exceptional coordination capabilities with strong multitasking and project management skills.
Detail-oriented and analytical, with sharp focus on drafting policies, managing documentation, and conducting gap analyses.
Languages: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin to liaise effectively with regional teams and external partners.
