Job Description

• Handle finance transactions, including receivables, payables, receipts, payments, bank and creditors’ reconciliations.
• Manage the full accounts payable process for suppliers and subcontractors in compliance with accounting standards, GST regulations and Group internal controls.
• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of project costing and management accounts.
• Update daily bank records and prepare financial reports.
• Assist in problem-solving and improvements of SOP.
• Liaise with external parties including suppliers, subcontractors, bankers and auditors.
• Support other finance-related matters and ad hoc assignments.
  

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• Preferably 3 years of relevant accounting/finance experience in construction sector.
• Hands-on experience in accounting and finance functions with good problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with accounting standards, taxation, GST and relevant regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office and XERO Accounting Software.
• Positive attitude with good team spirit.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours during peak periods and meet tight deadlines.
• Salary commensurate based on relevant working experience.
