We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Junior IT Technician to join our growing IT department. In this role, you will provide essential desktop support, maintain network and system operational readiness, and assist employees with daily technical issues. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or junior technicians eager to expand their skills across hardware, software, and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT helpdesk requests, troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issues.

Hardware & Workstation Setup: Assemble, configure, and deploy desktop PCs, laptops, printers, peripheral devices, and operating systems (Windows/macOS).

Software & Account Management: Install, update, and manage standard software applications, Microsoft 365, domain accounts, and user access rights.

System Maintenance: Perform routine system maintenance, data backups, driver updates, and basic security checks (antivirus, patch management).

Inventory & Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of company IT hardware, software licenses, and IT equipment inventory.

Escalation & Vendor Liaison: Document issues in the ticketing system and escalate complex network or server problems to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience: Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of hands-on IT support / helpdesk experience are encouraged to apply.

Technical Knowledge:

Solid understanding of PC hardware components, operating systems (Windows 10/11), and basic Microsoft 365 administration.

Basic knowledge of computer networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Routers, Switches).

Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer) and ticketing systems.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to learn new technologies.

Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia .

Service-oriented mindset with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,313.00 per month
