Position : Senior Geologist

Geotechnica Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible, proactive, and committed individual to join our team as a Geologist.

Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct geological fieldwork, site investigations, sampling, and mapping.
• Prepare geological reports, technical documents, and project submissions.
• Assist in geotechnical, soil, rock, slope, and environmental studies.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, laboratories, authorities, and project teams.
• Attend site visits, inspections, meetings, and field activities.
• Monitor fieldwork progress and ensure technical requirements are met.
• Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Work with environmental, engineering, and technical teams on project activities.
• Maintain proper records, reports, and project documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or related field
• Experience in geological, geotechnical, environmental, or related fields is an advantage (3 to 5 years).
• Suitable for Intermediate to Senior Geologist
• Good analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, coordination, and report writing skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Familiar with geological mapping, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, or geological software is an advantage.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for site work when required.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
