Job Brief

This position provides an opportunity for a fresh graduate / young executive to gain foundational experience in finance and accounting within a corporate setting. The role exists to support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reporting and compliance, and ensuring smooth financial operations. The position is designed to develop the candidate’s analytical, organizational, and financial management skills while contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of the Firm’s financial activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and record accounting entries accurately and timely.
• Process payments and reimburse petty cash to vendors and employees.
• Manage accounts receivable and perform debtor reconciliations.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and reconcile other relevant accounts.
• Prepare and submit service tax returns in compliance with regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and support audit and tax-related documentation.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are properly authorized and verified.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong time management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Competent in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
