We are looking for a skilled and motivated Workshop Mechanic to join our workshop team and help keep our fleet operating safely and reliably.

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities

As a Workshop Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our heavy vehicle fleet and logistics equipment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing of heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults.
• Carry out repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, braking, steering and suspension systems.
• Service and repair prime movers, trailers, forklifts, cranes and other logistics equipment.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and routine vehicle health checks.
• Attend to vehicle breakdowns and emergency repair works when required.
• Replace worn or damaged components using approved repair procedures.
• Perform welding and basic fabrication works where necessary.
• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and proper care of tools and equipment.
• Work closely with operations to minimise fleet downtime and maximise asset availability.
• Requirements

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in heavy vehicle or commercial vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an advantage.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues independently.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programmes.
• Able to read technical manuals and repair documentation.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence (Class 4 is an advantage).
