Hiring a Finance Manager within the Retail industry

Your new role

You will take ownership of a broad finance portfolio covering management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning and analysis. Working closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams, you will translate financial results into practical insights that improve performance and support informed commercial decisions.

• Take ownership of the company's P&L, reviewing revenue, costs, margins and overall profitability against business targets.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate inputs from commercial, retail and operational teams.
• Prepare regular financial forecasts, identifying changes in business performance, market conditions and cost drivers.
• Deliver timely and accurate monthly management reports, including detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior-year results.
• Partner with key stakeholders to provide financial insights, evaluate business performance and recommend actions to improve profitability.

What you'll need to succeed

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA or equivalent) with a degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
• Minimum 5 years of working experience with at least 3 years in Big 4 or Big 10 External Audit.
  
• Solid understanding of group reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and stakeholder management across multiple countries.
