Role Description The Finance Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis to ensure sound decision-making across the organization. Day-to-day tasks include preparing, reviewing, and interpreting financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. The role involves analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and presenting clear findings to stakeholders in finance and cross-functional teams. The Finance Specialist will collaborate with product, operations, and leadership to align financial performance with strategic goals, while supporting compliance with internal controls and relevant financial standards. This position requires proactive problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication in a distributed, technology-focused environment.

• Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Statements skills, including experience with budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Candidates should possess solid Accounting skills, including general ledger management and familiarity with standard accounting principles.
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify insights, and support data-driven decisions.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, including the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field are preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA or equivalent) are a plus.
• Comfort working in remote, technology-enabled environments, with proficiency in spreadsheets, financial software, and collaboration tools.
• Experience in fintech, AI-driven platforms, or emerging/unbanked markets is beneficial.
