Position Summary

This position is required to execute daily duties associated with data center operation, operate standard and/or specialize Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in combination with materials handling duties as instructed by the operations supervisor or senior supervisor. You will also be a mentor for temp staff & material handlers.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with the logistics coordinator to execute daily activity & orders.
• Perform kitting activities – Picking, auditing and delivering IT parts.
• Perform reverse logistics activities – Collect, process and pack used IT parts
• Perform inventory activities – conduct daily counts and replenishment
• Perform inbound receiving and outbound processing
• Train, mentor temp staff and less experienced Material Handlers.
• Use of WMS for Data entry and documents generation

Secondary Responsibilities

• Use of WMS for Data entry and documents generation
• Assist in data center repair works, builds/populations, decommissioning of server racks, material replenishment.
• Use of data center system and tools to execute tasks
• Any other ad-hoc task – managing client’s ticket request.

Qualifications Summary

Experience:

• 2 - 3 years relevant experience in logistics or warehousing or data center operations.

Education:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, bachelor’s degree, Professional Degree, or equivalent.

Skills:

• Experience in operating warehouse equipment such as forklift and power pallet
• Knowledge in warehouse receiving, picking, packing, wrapping and releasing functions
• Knowledge in data center operations and/or IT industry and products
• Computer literate
• Proficient in English written and communication.
• MHE license will be an advantage.
• Physically fit to handle up to 20kg materials
• Open Minded and Team player.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Work Location: On the road
