Job overview and responsibility

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets and business objectives

• Identify, prospect and acquire new clients whilst maintaining and expanding relationships with existing accounts

• Lead and mentor a sales team to ensure high performance and professional development

• Manage key accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for major clients

• Prepare sales proposals, quotations and presentations tailored to client needs

• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to secure profitable business deals

• Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and customer feedback to inform sales strategy

• Monitor sales performance metrics, forecast pipeline and report on progress against targets

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations and technical departments to support sales initiatives

• Attend industry events and networking functions to build brand awareness and generate leads

Required skills and experiences

- Must have a Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a sales management or senior sales role, preferably within industrial, technical or engineering sectors

• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth

• Strong account and relationship management skills with the ability to identify client needs and provide tailored solutions

• Experience managing and developing sales teams to high performance standards

• Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a consultative selling approach

• Strong communication and presentation abilities in both written and verbal formats

• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools

• Willingness to travel within the region as required

• Fluent in English

Preferred skills and experiences

Knowledge of the Asian market dynamics, particularly Malaysia, would be advantageous
