Job Summary:
New Bridge International School is seeking a dedicated, professional, and collaborative Teacher to foster a nurturing, structured, and inclusive environment for our diverse student body. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, managing classroom dynamics, tracking student progress, and actively participating in our vibrant school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum & Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that align with our international curriculum for all skill levels.
- Coaching & Extra-Curriculars: Coach school sports teams and help organize after-school sports programmes, tournaments, and inter-house competitions.
- School Events: Lead and assist with major school-wide athletic events, such as annual Sports Days, Swimming Galas, and Field Days.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and communicate growth regularly to parents.
- Health & Safety: Maintain a safe, inclusive environment by conducting risk assessments, ensuring equipment safety, and following first-aid and child safeguarding protocols.
- Positive Culture: Promote sportsmanship, fair play, and cultural inclusion among a diverse, international student body.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Your performance will be periodically evaluated based on:
- Achieve high student participation rates in after-school sports and extra-curricular athletic activities.
- Maintain a safety record by conducting 100% required risk assessments prior to all sporting activities, events, and off-site tournaments.
- Successful planning and execution of scheduled school-wide athletic events (e.g., Sports Day, Swimming Gala) with positive stakeholder feedback.
- Maintain high satisfaction ratings on annual parent and student feedback surveys regarding PE engagement and communication.
- Student academic progress.
- Timeliness of administrative tasks and grading.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Qualifications: At least a Degree or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in an international or multicultural school setting preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Taman Sutera Utama, Skudai JB.
- Professional Licensing: Must cooperate fully to obtain a Teaching Permit from the Malaysian Ministry of Education (KPM).
- Must have a clean criminal record and pass a mandatory pre-employment medical/psychiatric examination.
- Ethics: High standards of professional ethics, integrity, and absolute adherence to student safeguarding and school confidentiality policies.
- Tech Literacy: Willingness to use personal devices securely for limited work purposes (e.g., email, school portals) in compliance with school IT policy.
Working Hours
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Mondays to Fridays). Must be available on Saturdays, during the same hours as required by the school's schedule.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
