If you have a robust network among IOCs, NOCs, and Tier-1 EPIC contractors, alongside a proven track record of closing multi-million dollar offshore service contracts, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Growth & Market Expansion
• Identify Opportunities: Pinpoint and capture high-value business opportunities within the offshore oil & gas and subsea services sectors, including deepwater regions.
• Promote Capabilities: Champion the Company’s specialized subsea capabilities—including IRM (Diving and ROV-assisted inspection services) and Advanced NDT—to key clients across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct continuous market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to identify emerging offshore and subsea market trends.
2. Revenue Generation & Account Management
• Sales Lifecycle Ownership: Lead the complete sales cycle, driving aggressive lead generation through to final contract awards for subsea inspection campaigns, ROV operations, and related services.
• Network Activation: Build, maintain, and leverage senior-level relationships across Major Operators (IOCs/NOCs), EPIC Contractors, Tier-1 Subsea Service Providers, and Vessel Owners.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate trusted commercial partnerships with critical stakeholders, including PETRONAS Project Teams, Marine Operations Leads, and procurement heads.
3. Tendering, Commercial & Compliance
• Technical Tendering: Lead the preparation of winning technical and commercial proposals, ensuring absolute compliance with client specifications and IMCA guidelines.
• Document Review: Critically review all market surveys, prescreenings, client RFQs, ITTs, scopes of work, and tender documents.
• Commercial Execution: Manage the administration, issuance, and execution of business agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), frame agreements, and commercial contracts.
• Strategic & Operational Alignment: Ensure all subsea business development plans align with company policies, prioritizing quality, cost efficiency, and maximum market impact.
• Reporting: Support technical and operations teams to provide the management team with regular pipeline updates, market intelligence, tender statuses, and accurate sales forecasts.
HSE & Quality Compliance Responsibilities
• Safety First: Execute all assigned tasks safely, strictly adhering to company safety and environmental rules, regulations, and codes of practice.
• Awareness & Reporting: Maintain complete awareness of company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies. Actively report unsafe acts, conditions, incidents, and near-misses.
• Confidentiality (ISO 17020): Maintain absolute data integrity and confidentiality; do not disclose any operational or task-related information to third parties.
• Training: Actively participate in health, safety, and operational training offered by the company.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture, Oil & Gas) or a relevant Business discipline.
• Experience: 5+ years of proven business development or commercial experience explicitly within the offshore oil and gas or subsea services industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep domain understanding of subsea operations, including ROV/AUV operations, commercial diving, SURF installations, and well interventions.
• Regulatory Familiarity: Strong working knowledge of PETRONAS licensing, SWEC codes, and SUS (Subsea Services) vendor requirements.
• Established Network: A proven, active network of contacts within regional operators (e.g., PETRONAS Carigali, PTTEP, Hibiscus) and Tier-1 subsea contractors.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding negotiation skills with a history of closing multi-million dollar offshore service contracts.
• Language: Excellent command of English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or other regional languages is highly advantageous.
• Mobility: Willingness and ability to undertake frequent regional and occasional international travel (Asia-Pacific).
