Role Description The Singaporean English Recording role is a part-time remote position focused on producing high-quality audio recordings in Singaporean English for various projects. Day-to-day tasks include reading and recording provided scripts, following specific pronunciation and intonation guidelines, and ensuring clear, consistent audio quality. The role may also involve labeling or annotating recordings, reviewing instructions for each project, and uploading files through DatoviaPlayHouse’s platform within agreed timelines. Talent in this role collaborates with project coordinators and follows technical and linguistic requirements to support AI training, localization, and other audio-based services.

Qualifications

• Strong command of Singaporean English with clear, natural pronunciation and consistent speech patterns.
• Experience with voice recording, voice-over work, or audio production using basic recording tools or software.
• Ability to follow detailed recording guidelines, scripts, and technical instructions accurately.
• Access to a quiet recording environment and reliable equipment (microphone, computer, stable internet connection).
• Good time management skills and reliability in meeting deadlines for part-time, remote freelance projects.
• Comfort with digital platforms and file management, including uploading and organizing audio files.
• Prior experience in transcription, localization, or AI data collection is an advantage but not required.
• Eligibility to work on a freelance basis and willingness to complete test or sample recordings when requested.
