The Content & Data Annotation Moderator is responsible for reviewing, classifying, labeling, evaluating, and moderating digital content, including text, images, videos, and audio files, in accordance with established project guidelines, policies, and quality standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, sound judgment, and consistency in decision-making. The successful candidate will contribute to content moderation and data annotation operations by delivering high-quality outputs, maintaining compliance with project requirements, and supporting operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a production-driven role operating within an office environment and may involve exposure to potentially sensitive, graphic, violent, hateful, misleading, or policy-violating content.

• Language requirement:
  • Minimum CEFR C1 English proficiency (written and verbal) is mandatory.
  • Candidates must demonstrate advanced English reading comprehension, written communication, and analytical capabilities sufficient to make accurate moderation and annotation decisions.
  • Strong ability to read, understand, analyse, classify, evaluate, and make accurate decisions on English-language content.
  • Ability to identify contextual, cultural, linguistic, and policy nuances when reviewing and annotating content.
  • Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and written expression.
  • Candidates may be required to complete an English language assessment and achieve the minimum benchmark established by the company prior to employment.
  
  

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree of further education/college desirable, to be mutually agreed upon between both parties.
  
  

• Experience:
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in Content Moderation, Data Annotation, Data Labelling, Quality Assurance, BPO Operations, Shared Services, or a similar operational environment preferred.
• Fresh graduates with exceptional analytical abilities and demonstrated CEFR C1 English proficiency may also be considered.
• Experience reviewing user-generated content, trust & safety operations, policy enforcement, quality assessment, or data annotation activities will be considered an advantage.
• Experience working in English-speaking markets or handling English-language content at scale will be considered an added advantage.
• Familiarity with digital platforms, online content ecosystems, and content classification processes is preferred.

Working Hours

• Content Moderation
  • Review and moderate text, image, video, and audio content in accordance with project policies and guidelines.
  • Accurately identify and classify content based on defined moderation standards and categories.
  • Apply moderation decisions consistently across all assigned workflows.
  • Handle potentially sensitive, graphic, violent, hateful, misleading, or otherwise policy-violating content professionally.
  • Escalate ambiguous, high-risk, or guideline-related cases through the appropriate escalation channels.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
  
  

• Data Annotation & Labelling
  • Label, classify, categorize, and annotate datasets according to project-specific requirements and taxonomies.
  • Perform annotation activities across multiple content formats, including text, images, videos, and audio files.
  • Ensure annotation outputs meet established quality and accuracy standards.
  • Interpret and apply annotation guidelines consistently and accurately.
  • Conduct self-validation and quality review activities before task completion.
