The Role
The Product and System Engineer is responsible for ensuring product specifications and customer requirements are accurately implemented in manufacturing, while maintaining and improving the related production systems and processes. The role provides technical support to Production, manages ECN implementation, FMEA, Control Plan, BOM, routing, work instructions and preventive maintenance systems, and supports continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Product Related Responsibility
  • Ensure Customer specification is implemented to the product in manufacturing.
  • Responsible for the ECN issuance, coordination and ensure its implementation accurately.
  • Provide technical support to Production and communicate with Customer on the technical part of the products.
  • Responsible for the FMEA and Control Plan creation and coordinate for the implementation.
  • Liaise with Process / Test Engineer for any jig fixture / machine / tester improvement.
  • Maintain product specifications.
System Related Responsibility
  • Responsible for system Bill of Material preparation.
  • Responsible for system Bill of Material maintenance according to ECN.
  • Responsible for system creation and maintenance for Routing Operation.
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance for Preventive Maintenance System.
  • Responsible for creation and revise work instruction.
  • Ensure the system setting is 100% accurate.
  • Participate to Kaizen activities to achieve system/workflow improvement.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by superior.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in mechatronics or electronics manufacturing.
  • Preferably experienced in box build assembly.
  • Good knowledge of ECN implementation, FMEA, Control Plan and product specification management.
  • Experience in BOM, Routing Operation and system maintenance.
  • Experience in work instruction preparation/revision and preventive maintenance system.
  • Good understanding of jig/fixture, machine and tester improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, committed and result-oriented.
