Accounts Assistant
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day accounting and finance operations of the company. This role supports the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring proper documentation of remittance-related activities in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining accounting records, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger transactions.
- Assist in preparing bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies when required.
- Compile and prepare weekly reports, including Reload Sales Reports, Billers Reports, and Commission Reports for review.
- Assist in processing daily payments to billers accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in reconciling Accounts Receivable (Merchants) between CRMS and SAP accounting systems.
- Support the preparation and verification of sales and biller transaction summaries to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in merchant reconciliation activities and monitor outstanding receivables.
- Maintain proper accounting records, supporting documents, and filing systems for audit and compliance purposes.
- Assist in preparing GST-related documentation and other statutory requirements as assigned.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform data entry and ensure accounting records are updated accurately and timely.
- Assist with any ad-hoc duties and finance-related tasks assigned by management from time to time.
- Minimum qualification: Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of accounting experience will have an added advantage.
- MUST have basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Experience in SAP or other accounting/ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work accurately under deadlines.
- Willing to learn and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to support work on weekend or Public Holiday - to do transactions if required to (OT will be provided).
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
Work location: Kampung Baru, Kuala Lumpur.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
